| Useful Information | This historic inn and stagecoach stop, served as a "motel and restaurant" as early as 1822 for the weary who were traveling between Nashville and Lexington. Several duelists stayed there prior to their duels including Sam Houston who stayed 10 days and nights preparing for his famous duel at nearby Linkumpinch Dueling Grounds. Now offering free tours Tuesday - Friday 11am; Saturday 11am-1pm. | |
